Convoy for Kids Mackay celebrated 10 years in 2018, raising funds for the Childrens Variety Charity, Single Transport Services were very proud to receive the award for best truck in the convoy for 2011 to current.

Through the ‘Living with Heavy Vehicles’ safety training program, Ian demonstrated the dangers of a semi-trailer’s blind spots by asking teachers and students of a local primary school to experience it firsthand from the driver’s seat of his stationary truck. 6500 students participated in this program, and as a result, the Walkerston Rotary Club presented Ian with a Paul Harris Fellowship Award.

Since 2007, Single Transport Services were heavily involved in the Childhood Cancer Support Mackay Raft Race; donating time, equipment and raising vital funds for an organisation that provides a range of support services to families of children undergoing oncology (cancer) treatment at the Royal Children’s Hospital Brisbane.
